Dr. Marcellina Martins

MBBS, MFam.Med, FRACGP

  • Postgraduate medical training – University of Stellenbosch 2006
  • Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
  • Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr. Martins has completed Postgraduate training as a Family Physician at the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa in 2006, before she relocated to Australia.

She has worked at Arafura Medical Clinics at Humpty Doo in Australia since December 2008.

She is now very excited to be a major part of the Bakewell Medical Centre team.

Dr. Martins has special interests in:

  • Women’s and Children’s Health
  • Disease Prevention
  • Chronic Disorders Management – Hypertension, Diabetes etc.
  • Minor Surgeries
  • Eye Foreign Body Removal

Dr Jasantha Sathyendra

MBBS, FRACGP

  • Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners – 2015
  • Australian Medical Council – 2010
  • Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery Sri Lanka – 1999.

Dr Jasantha Sathyendra is an Australian qualified GP with more than 19 years experience.

Originally graduating in Sri Lanka she has been consulting in Australia for the past 9 years.

Dr Sathyendra has special interests in:

  • General Medicine
  • Antenatal Care (including shared Antenatal Care)
  • Women’s Health
  • Children’s Health.
